New House

In late November Melissa and I signed the papers for our first house. It's a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse in north Durham. We are so excited to start our lives together in our new house. The first day we went over to paint, Paul and Karen came over and brought us lunch. Since we didn't have a table, we all sat on the floor in the kitchen. It was great! The same day Matt and Rachel came over to bring us dinner, and again, we Indian styled it on the floor in the kitchen.

With me managing a toy store in December, and Melissa working overtime, it wasn't the easiest move. Now, we have made it through the season, and are settling in nicely. We have most of the painting done, and almost all the boxes unpacked. It is so nice to have a home to come home to.

Our hope and prayer for this home is that God will use it for whatever purpose He sees fit. Since the only reason we were able to do this was because of Him, Melissa and I decided we would dedicate our house to His work. It is my prayer that many will hear the gospel in our home, and that we may serve everyone who enters with humility. Our house is open to all friends and family whoever need a place to stay.
